Brandon Rogalla and I teamed up today to hit the ice. It was a different type of day than yesterday, but Custom Jigs & Spins products did the trick again.
I started the day off as I ended it yesterday by catching a bass with a Slender Spoon that was suspended at 4 to 5 feet in 8 feet of water. Two more bass came during the day on the same lure.
Bluegill and crappie hit the Custom Jigs & Spins Glow colored Rocker with a chartreuse Power Crappie Nibble. They were in shallower water of 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 feet and holding close to the bottom.
Yesterday was sunny and warmer, or at least it felt that way. Today was cloudy with a cold damp breeze out of an easterly direction.
I may try again tomorrow before the bad weather with high wind, freezing rain, followed by very cold temperatures, moves in again.
Until next time, get out on the water, and enjoy a great day of fishing.
