See the entire outdoors from indoors with a growing count nearing 200 exhibitors and over 50 free seminars to attend. The Saturday and Sunday event is scheduled for January 5th and 6th, 2013. This event is the current largest and longest continually Operating Sporting Expo in NH.
Outdoorsman supporting the future outdoorsman. The Rockingham Fishing & Hunting Expo is proud to be supporting and donating proceeds from attractions to benefit Barry Conservation Youth Camp, NH’s only youth conservation camp.
The Expo is set up to be fun for the whole family, as such, kids 15 and under only $3 and free admission for children 5 and under. Adult admission is just $8 (with admission discount tickets available online) and parking is free. This is the First, the Biggest, and the Best in NH.
Sunday is Kid’s Day, and the little outdoors-people will have a blast on the Moose Clues scavenger hunt complete with a grand prize fishing guide trip donated by Seacoast Guide Service. Other activities will include the kid’s favorite Live Trout Pond where you will be able to try your luck in catching the “Big One”. There will also be the favored lazer shot shooting simulator, a Kids Archery Range and the new Paintball Range sponsored by Predator Airsoft of Salem.
Door prizes every hour? Yes!!! Just another perk for you to come. Lots of door prizes donated by our gracious exhibitors will be given out every hour. The Rockingham Fishing & Hunting Expo Raffle prizes include free fishing and hunting guide trips with many of our exhibitors.
The Expo features many diverse outdoor exhibitors from all around the New England area and beyond. Exhibitor categories that will be featured include: Fishing, Hunting, Guns and Muzzleloaders, Kayaking, Canoeing, Camping, Archery, Big Game Outfitters, Fly-Fishing, Guides and Charters, Hiking, Backpacking, Lodges and Resorts, ATV, Boats and Marinas, Outdoor Clothing and much, much more. Many of the exhibitors will have special show pricing and superb deals on all types of guide trips and outdoor equipment are sure to be found.
You will have the opportunity to purchase your 2013 Fishing and/or Hunting license from the NH Fish & Game booth. Come enjoy NH’s very own falconers and their red-tailed hawks or maybe attend a dog training seminar.
In addition to the exhibitors, the Rockingham Fishing and Hunting Expo boast a full schedule of free seminars featuring the very best in the field of Outdoors. Attendees are in luck because this year’s schedule is packed with topics from experts willing to share their success. The seminar schedule can be viewed online and changes are happening often just because there is so much to offer in this year’s schedule. Meet Vermont’s trophy whitetail buck tracker Lane Benoit who will have two seminars each day. Headlining the Hunter’s Seminars will include pro staff from Big Bucks Adverture TV and Bill Saiffe III a Legendary Deer, Great Lakes Angler and Duck Hunter from Bill Saiffe Outdoors. More saltwater seminars have been added to the schedule including a very informational Tuna seminar from Ron Poirer, of RonZ Engineered Soft Baits. Local striper experts from Plum Island Surf Casters will host shore fishing and bait catching seminars; Captain Charlie Crue will host his favored seminar for fly & light spin fishing on the tidal Merrimack River for Striped bass.
For those of you worried that you might miss the football play-offs over the weekend, no worries, the Rockingham Park’s television system is cued up to play the games so you won’t miss a thing.
Rockingham Park is located off Exit 1 on I93 right across from the Rockingham Mall in Salem, New Hampshire. Show hours are Saturday 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Parking is Free and door prizes will be announced every hour! The first hourly door prize is a custom built rod donated by River Street Bait and Tackle.
