The first ever all-ladies national 3-Gun major match will be hosted by Atlanta 3-Gun at the South River Gun Club on October 31 through November 1, 2014. Brownells will be the title sponsor and host of the Prize Table Ceremony Banquet following the match. “3-Gun is an exciting sport, and encouraging women to participate is something we believe in. The match, sanctioned by 3-Gun Nation and operated under the Regional Series Rules, is expected to attract 200 new and accomplished lady shooters from around the Nation. It will be set up as a Pro-Am, with experienced ladies who have shot four or more Major matches in the 2013 season or before and have finished in the top 60 percentile of those matches, any lady who has won a title in a sanctioned major match in a single gun discipline, or any lady who has shot in the 3 Gun Nation Ladies Pro-Series Tour or shot in the 2014 Ladies Pro-Series Qualifier, competing in the professional division, and any other lady is welcome to shoot in the Amateur division. We highly recommend, but not required, that ladies who are shooting the Amateur division have shot at least one club level match or has taken a 3-Gun Training Class in preparation for this match.

The match fee will be $225, with registration opening on February 8, 2014. The match will include 9 stages, and competitors will be able to compete in the Tac Optics, Tac Irons or Open Division. The prize table is building fast with it already set at approximately $130,000 and Benelli USA putting a $5,000 on the table for the top Pro Lady and a Benelli M2 Performance Shotgun along with a STI custom built and engraved 2011 Pistol for the 1st Place Amateur Lady!
