If you ever find a dead animal with quills like this. Do not handle it, or bring it home and let your friends or family handle it. If an animal has porcupine quills stuck in it like this there is a good chance it is rabid. In this case it was tested and was rabid. Now the family that handled it is (see full picture) going through rabies protocols with their doctor.
