Leupold Riflescope Used To Set Another Record

Leupold Riflescope Used To Set Another RecordLeupold & Stevens, Inc., is proud to have its VX®-6 7-42x56mm riflescope optic used by Scottish F-class competitor Paul R. Crosbie as he set a British record in route to collecting two gold medals, along with a silver and bronze, at the European F-Class Championships. In the first match of the individual

800-yard event, Crosbie took the British record and gold medal with a score of 75 V 12. This mark came on the heels of his gold-medal winning performance (75 V 7) in the pre-matches.

“When I first saw the VX-6 7-42x56mm at The World Championships last year, I knew that Leupold had built the ideal F-Class scope,” Crosbie said. “Now, having worked with one in top-level competition, I can confirm this to be the case.”

For Leupold®, working with the world’s best competitive shooters is more than just an honor, it’s an opportunity to have their optics tested by the most discerning experts under real-world match conditions.

“From long-range competitive shooting to that once-in-a-lifetime elk hunt, the VX-6 VX-6 7-42x56mm is one of the most versatile riflescopes we’ve ever designed,” said Tim Lesser, director of product development at Leupold & Stevens, Inc. “The feedback we get from these competitive perfectionists is critical to the design of the most rugged, dependable optics for long-range shooters and ethical hunters.”

The VX-6 7-42x56mm was designed from the start to be a long-range precision optic. Its 6X magnification range delivers crystal clear optics edge-to-edge at any power, which is great for shooters like Crosbie who prefer nothing stronger than 40X.
