In another shocking move, “Mainers for Fair Bear Hunting” and the Humane Society of the United States’ Maine Director Katie Hansberry, have filed an appeal to the Maine Law Court in an attempt to make sure that the wildlife experts at the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife (DIFW) are silenced on any future wildlife ballot initiative.
The appeal comes after Maine Superior Court Justice Joyce Wheeler dismissed the “Mainers for Fair Bear Hunting”/Hansberry lawsuit against DIFW on grounds of mootness on March 31, 2015.

I guess it’s not surprising that HSUS continues to try to muzzle Maine’s wildlife experts. After all, they continue to threaten us with another anti-hunting campaign in 2016. They’ll stop at nothing to make sure Maine’s most credible experts aren’t allowed to speak on wildlife measures.
