Across the Ice Belt TV from Ice Team

Across The Ice Belt TVGrowing in popularity, Across the Ice Belt television moves the Ice Team to a broader reach with cable network coverage through Fox Sports-North (Minnesota, Dakotas, Iowa and Western Wisconsin) and Fox Sports-Wisconsin. Starting its third season, the previously Internet-based video series challenges and encourages ice anglers to explore more bodies of water and try new techniques. Hosted by Jiggy Andersen, accompanied by Ice Team Pros from every state in the northern region, the show will air on Saturday mornings at 7:30 a.m. CST. It is a favorite of many ice anglers and will now reach over 4,000,000 households. The first episode will run the first Saturday of October (10/3/15) and the 13 week series will take it to the last Saturday of the year (12/26/15). One weekly re-air is planned.“We travel to the best lakes and get on the ice with THE best anglers in each area—Ice Team professional anglers who really know their lake and how to dial in the fish,” said Jiggy Andersen. Ice Team guests on the show will include the likes of Jason Mitchell, Jason Hamilton on Lake Winnipeg, Jean-Paul Tessier up on Lake of the Woods and of course Dave Genz on any ice, any time. “We have so many great pros to choose from, including the Godfather of ice fishing himself. With the whole Ice Team we reach many states.”

From Vermont to Colorado to Winnipeg and beyond, Ice Team pros share the latest in tips, tactics and gear in the show; now available to cable audiences as well as the Internet. “We’re excited to now have Across the Ice Belt on a tremendous cable network so anglers and their families can watch the shows together,” said Andersen.“Starting online is a great way to build a following,” said Nick Chiodo, director of marketing for Clam. “We are taking the next step to bring the show to television.”

“We focus on a balance of fishing technique, beautiful cinematography, and the lifestyle of a hardcore ice angler,” said Andersen. “Our goal is to capture hot bites and techniques, yes, but it is also more than that. We want to tell the story of the lifestyle and show others how to have more success on ice.” Andersen pairs up with the very best of the Ice Team pros.  “We don’t have any scripts for each show. We get to a location and capture the story of how it happens.” For more information on Ice Team go to http://www.iceteam.com
