Recently I thought about the fact that I can get by in open water with lures from 4 companies – Blitz Lures LLC, Natural Forage Baits, BFishn Tackle, and Rat-L-Trap, with the soft plastics rigged on B-Fish-N H20 Precision Jig Heads and TTI-Blakemore XPoint, Daiichi and Tru Turn hooks and Road Runner Lures heads, especially the Casey’s Head. Some of the soft plastics are also rigged to the Blitz Spyder Jig, which is in the following list. Here is my line up of lures with a selection of one color each:
Blitz Phrog – frog
Blitz Spyder Jig – black/blue
Blitz Blade – Spotted Goby
Natural Forage RT7 worm – black/blue fleck
Natural Forage R4 worm – black/blue fleck
Natural Forage Swim Bait – Green Shad
Natural Forage Lil Killer – shad
Natural Forage Mad Craw – black/blue fleck
B-Fish-N Ringworm – electric blue/pearl tail
B-Fish-N Pulse-R – oyster
B-Fish-N Ribb Finn – oyster
Rat-L-Trap – yellow perch
I’m sort of like the late Guido Hibdon on having a favorite jig combo of black/blue.
Not to forget a “splash” of Kick’n Bass Fish Attractants.
If I can’t catch a bass with one of these, or even a walleye and large crappie, then I may as well go home.
As for ice fishing, it is one company – Custom Jigs & Spins. However, I’ve already listed that selection in a past winter posting.
Until next time, get out on the water, and enjoy a great day of fishing.
