The RWS Diana Model 34 arrived today. The first round fired was at an empty SeaFoam can, which hit about 2 to 3 inches low of the red label at which I was aiming. So, I started firing at paper and made some adjustments until it hit center with several rounds. From there I hit center on a water bottle label, and moved back to the SeaFoam can to fire at its red label.
All shooting was done freestanding at 10 yards. Once my eyes started blurring I knew it was time to quit.
The gun has a very heavy break, and the safety is somewhat different than on the old Model 45. In fact, I prefer the safety on the 45. This one comes straight back, and has to be pushed inward. The 45’s flipped up and down.
Sights are much different from the old 45. With the fiber optic they are nice, and the adjustment is easier.
Next will be taking it out and shooting at a little longer distance. I’ll probably do both in the video, and may do the 50 yard shoot later.
It definitely packs a punch. When shooting at the can and bottle they did not topple when hit directly since the pellet made a very clean and quick entrance and exit.
I also shot at the Umarex USA, Inc. Trap Shot Reset Target System, which worked very well. It his so hard that at one round of targets I reset the other one before shooting at the center reset target.
After shooting this rifle I think it would be a good candidate for an airgun to use with a Skinner Sights Peep Sight.
Stay tuned for more reports.

I’ll soon be receiving a RWS Diana Model 34 in .177 caliber through Umarex USA, Inc.. I will be shooting this as a comparison to Jim Nordquist‘s old model 45, which was discontinued in 2004. To me it looks a lot like the 45, but with an improved front site, and increased velocity.
I opted for the version without the scope, as that is what Jim had in the 45. After initial testing I will then use the rail to test out how it performs with a Barska or Tasco scope and an Axeon Optics Red Dot Scope.
Stay tuned for the initial shooting, review and videos. Until next time, shoot safe, and have a great day of plinking. #umarexrwsdianamodel34and45in177caliberhttps://www.umarexusa.com/rws-model-34-177

ROGERS, AR (Jan. 1, 2019) – Gamo’s 10X Technology takes another step forward with the new horizontal magazine alignment on the Swarm Fusion 10X. Gamo’s 10X Technology first appeared in the industry changing Swarm Maxxim, the first breakbarrel air rifle featuring a 10-shot magazine that allows shooters to shoot 10 shots as fast as they can break the barrel. The new Gamo Swarm Fusion 10X GEN2 comes in .177 and .22 and shoots at velocities at the very top level of breakbarrel abilities.
