This afternoon I did a short bit of shooting with the H&N Medium and Magnum Sniper pellets, and have come to the conclusion that the best gun that I have for shooting these two models is the cheapest rifle in my collection, but one of the most accurate. It is Umarex USA, Inc.’s NXG multi-pump with a Axeon Optics red dot scope. Both weights of pellets hit within the same two inch middle.
As an offset to the NXG I tried the RWS Diana model 34, thinking it would do just as well. Nope – the heavier magnum went way low.
These pellets shoot equally in the NXG whether it is pumped 4 times or 10. I tried it at 4, 5, 7 and maximum of 10, and they all worked.
