Dan covers ELEY USA ammunition, Gamo Outdoor USA Swarm Maxxim and polarized sunglasses. Enjoy and take notes.
Some ELEY USA ammunition arrived today – Action 40gr and Subsonic Hollow 36gr. I’ll be giving these a try as soon as possible, in my Henry Repeating Arms lever action rifles, Heritage Firearms Rough Rider, and Browning Buck Mark with the Buck Mark Reflex sight. The velocity is only 1040 and 1090 fps, so it isn’t quite high enough to use with my American Tactical GSG M1911 and Firefly to have good cycling.
In one month this video that I filmed about the Gamo Outdoor USA Swarm Maxxim has shot up to number 12 in my most watched on the Dan’s Fish ‘N’ Tales® You Tube channel. That is a jump from 100th place to 12th. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMVUOdKEq_Q
I picked up my polarized sunglasses today from Dr. Jim Nordquist. I wasn’t too sure about the brown lens, but it is great. I was at the water within about an hour after picking them up and they worked great. Even driving they were very good. So any of you who are a little uncertain about using a brown lens don’t be.
Nice thing is that my eyes have improved. Jim said that I was now using a weaker prescription. Show what can happen when you have a good optometrist.
He also was able to locate a company that still made the frames like I’ve had, which has become my “signature” through the 43 years in the business. Thanks Jim.
