ASA/KAF – Defending the Great Lakes

We’ve all seen the funny videos of people fighting Asian carp with nets, baseball bats, and even swords.  Now it’s time to get serious. Asian carp are poised to infiltrate the Great Lakes and devastate native species. Unless stopped, gamefish like walleye, trout, and salmon will be starved out.
Fortunately, a bill called the Defending Our Great Lakes Act has been introduced in Congress to stop this invasion in its tracks. The Army Corps of Engineers developed a good plan. Ask Congress to put that plan to work. Send a Message »
