The Bass Pro Shops Big Cat Quest is anchoring up in Henderson, Kentucky this weekend for a tournament full of prizes. The Classic will feature a guaranteed payout of $10,500.00 in cash and prizes. Ken Freeman, the BCQ originator, said this was the first time for the tournament to make a stop in Henderson. “We are looking for a good turnout and the hourly format will add plenty of excitement to the weigh-in. The thing about this tournament trail,” explained Freeman, “is that we provide a small town atmosphere were local anglers are able to participate against the best in the business. It also helps to get the towns involved in the bigger picture of promoting catfishing.”
This weekend’s event is on a format that includes 7 hourly paybacks, each hour of the day, beginning with the 7 to 8 am hour. The hourly paybacks are $400 to first place, $300 to second, $200 to third and $100 to fourth.
