In appreciation for the tremendous on-going support thousands of avid bass anglers have shown for Toyota Trucks and their Bonus Bucks program, Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A. announced today that it will host a no entry fee team tournament on Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013 on northern Alabama’s Lake Wheeler in Decatur. “A no entry fee team event is a great way to celebrate the humbling allegiance and loyalty that serious bass anglers have shown our brand by purchasing and towing with a Toyota Truck,” said Jim Baudino, Engagement Marketing Manager for Toyota.
The event will take place at Ingalls Harbor, one of America’s top-notch tournament friendly facilities, featuring wide launch ramps, spacious parking and fast access to Decatur’s numerous hotels and eateries. Toyota will also provide a free dinner to participating teams on both Saturday and Sunday.
All currently registered, eligible Bonus Bucks participants are invited to register a team to participate with the exception of Bassmaster Elite Series, PAA and FLW Tour pros, and only one team member must be registered in the Bonus Bucks program to be eligible to compete. Tournament officials from B.A.S.S. will be onsite to help orchestrate the tournament portion of the event.
The Top 30 teams are guaranteed a paycheck, and the first 200 to register will receive a generous tackle pack containing lures, Toyota branded clothing and more. Participants will also get a chance to visit with Team Toyota members Kevin VanDam, Terry Scroggins, Gerald Swindle and other Bassmaster Elite Series Pros.
Anglers are required to pre-register by Monday, Sept. 2. B.A.S.S. tournament staff will be onsite Saturday afternoon, Sept. 7, at Ingalls Harbor for official angler check-in.
Participants are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible for this fellowship-filled, prize-rich event. Limited space is available. To register, please visit www.Toyota Fishing.com, or call Kendell at 918-742-6424.
