Niles, Ohio- On this week’s American Huntress, we start the show a little differently and highlight the works of Something More Safaris. This group specializes in humanitarian works and allows sportsmen and women to get involved directly while they are on their hunt. A visit to the local Red Cross at Christ Church New Zealand shows the girls how needs are being met after the deadly 6.3 earthquake in February. After a tour of the devastation and relief efforts, Linda and Brittany head out with Peter from Wilderness Quest. The luxury cabin style lodging nestled in the foothills overlooks breathtaking snow capped mountains and spring fed trout streams. While still in awe over the beauty and splendor of the landscape Linda and Brittany are off and hunting. First up is Brittany, and she shows that even after a tough spot and stalk she can catch her breath long enough to put a great shot on a monster red stag. This week’s episode concludes with Linda, lots of fog, a little rain, and a beautiful fallow deer at over 250 yards! So, set your DVR and don’t miss a single exciting episode of The American Huntress in New Zealand.
