For 2015 the Browning ProSteel safe line-up expands to include the Heavyweight Series. These new safes offer a ton features that enhance protection from theft and fire while improving interior storage. Heavyweight safes feature a tough 11 Gauge steel body nd a rigid 1″ formed door with inner plate. Security is handled by the Force Deflector™ Locking System and hardened steel pin lock protection. Pry-Stop End Bolts improve anti-pry protection.
A new feature found on Browning ProSteel safes for 2015 is ThermaBlock Fire Protection, and Heavyweight models boast a 1550° F/80 minute fire rating. Exclusive to Browning Pro-Steel safes, ThermaBlock features thicker sheets of fire insulation arranged in an interlocking design to minimize gaps that allow the internal temperature in the safe to rise during a fire. Safes with ThermaBlock offer up to three times greater fire protection than the competition.
Inside, a full DPX door storage rack adds storage for valuables, handguns and long guns, while improving access to more long guns. Versatile Cantilevered Modular Shelving allows quick and easy adjustments to meet individual storage needs.
Four Heavyweight models are offered: Extra Wide, Wide, Standard and Slim. All are available in a textured charcoal or gloss black finish.
