Beginning with the August 2015 edition of ODU Magazine™, OutDoors Unlimited Media will be adding a new column geared specifically to young anglers to each of our digital fishing magazines. Penned by seven-year-old “Casting Carter” (http://www.castingcarter.com), the new column “Bobber Bites” is a complement to Casting Carter’s Bobber Bites video series (http://www.youtube.com/castingcarter) offering tips and tricks for anglers of all ages, but especially kids.
“I started my company Kid In Outdoors, LLC, to get kids off of video games and outdoors,” said Carter LaLiberte, better known as Casting Carter, founder and kid entrepreneur. “Being able to share my love of nature and tell other people and kids about how much fun the outdoors can be is my dream. I think readers are really going to love the new ODU Magazine column.”
Casting Carter has built his passion into a nationally recognized brand known for fishing, outdoors, conservation and his “tips and tricks.” As a spokesperson and advocate, he works both online (through social media, video and blogging) and also offline, traveling to industry events where he gives seminars, speeches and makes special appearances to help bring attention to youth outdoor activities.
OutDoors Unlimited Media invited Casting Carter to join the team to add his unique perspective for fishing and nature and also to share what makes the next generation excited about the sport.
