DoubleTap Defense, LLC, a firearms design and manufacturing company, has received official notification from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) that the DoubleTap™ Tactical Pocket Pistol has received a Design and a Utility patent on their innovative concealed carry pistols. Design patent No. D686685 issued earlier this month provides DoubleTap Defense with design patent rights.Utility patent No. 8,495,831 issued on July 30, 2013, demonstrates that DoubleTap Defense has invented a new and useful product.
