On the water, the weather can cool down quickly. However, with Webasto Thermo & Comfort North America, Inc.’s line of marine air and coolant heaters, boat owners and their guests can enjoy warmth onboard deep into the winter months. Webasto air heaters offer a maximum heat output of 18,700 Btu/h with low fuel and power consumption, operating up to 22 hours on a single gallon of fuel. Air heaters are a quiet and powerful source of heat on any vessel. They can be sold separately or as part of an all-inclusive kit.
The recently introduced Air Top Evo 40 and 55 models provide up to 10% more heating power to cabins and feature an automatic cold-start system. Both offer a state-of-the-art modern control and a new fuel pump design, leading to even lower consumption. The new Air Top Evo 40 and 55, as well as the existing Air Top 2000, are ideal for continuous heating. Multiple units can be combined in a modular fashion to allow for heating larger areas as needed.
Webasto coolant heaters supply up to 120,000 Btu/h of heat output, offering variable temperature adjustment. Featuring a compact design, they are quiet as the distribution of heat flows through the radiators or fan heat exchangers. Potable water for a boat’s shower or galley can also be heated using a Webasto coolant heater. They can easily be combined with Webasto chiller air-conditioning systems for the ultimate in comfort on the water.
For precise cabin temperature management, Webasto offers the SmarTemp Control 2.0 and SmarTemp Control fx 2.0. With a large, backlit LCD screen, the SmarTemp Controls display heater diagnostic codes and users can set standard or ambient cabin temperature. They are password protected and conveniently display preventative maintenance and low voltage disconnect threshold reminders. Boaters can program adjustable run times, and can select between Fahrenheit or Celsius measurements.
