Evening Shooting With My Umarex

Evening Shooting With My UmarexThe last two evenings I’ve been shooting my new Umarex USA, Inc. pistols, which I will be shooting some videos with in the near future. These were shot using Umarex CO2 cartridges with a drop of RWS pellet gun oil, and Umarex Steel BBs.

The S&W M&P 40 was really different with it being so much like the “real thing”. It even has a bit of a recoil. However, that drops the amount of rounds that can be fired. I shot 53 rounds with a single cylinder.

My other one was the Beretta APX. I knew right off the bat that it was not going to use as much CO2. In fact, I shot around 120 rounds before it started losing the “punch”.

At first on the Beretta I was not wearing my computer glasses and was seeing two bullseyes. As a result a lot of my shots were going slightly to the left side once I was able to figure out the elevation of the fixed sights. After putting on the glasses I fairly much drilled the center until losing some power.

I also tried shooting some Crosman pellets in the Umarex NXG pump rifle, using Do-All Outdoors Knockout Discs as the targets. With 4 to 5 pumps I was right on the mark from 20 yards. I shot 12 pellets with 3 hitting 10 (bullseye), 5 hitting the 9 ring, and 4 hitting the 8 ring. These are about a 5″ disc with 1/2″ rings and 1″ bullseye.

Until next time, shoot safe and have a great day of plinking.
