We saw some drastic improvement this past week, we moved from frozen over bays to 42 degree water most consistently throughout the lake. The bite was still somewhat tough with size being really good but numbers being the struggle. I spent just about every day on the water this past week, not all of it fishing rather scanning and map creation for Lowrance. The best bite for me came on the SPRO Aruka Shad in red color, and when you got a bite it was deep and you had to dig it out of the fish.
The good news is the days are getting longer, that will help warm the water quickly and the fish are showing more movement just about every week. As we move forward everyday towards the pre-spawn it will just get better every day.
February is win a Duckett rod month for me and my team, if you fish with any of us and it is booked thru me your name will get throw in a hat for a drawing of a Duckett rod. You just need to make sure after you fish with any of us that I have your name and email address.
Come fish with me I have guides and days available to fish with you, make it in the month of February and you get a chance to win a Duckett rod. Booking for the winter spring and summer now; no one will treat you better.
