The award-winning Fishing the Midwest television series will start airing again in early 2019 in homes throughout the Midwest, and this year, anglers across North America will have access to Fishing the Midwest. Fishing the Midwest host Mike Frisch recently announced that the World Fishing Network and Fishing the Midwest had come to an agreement to air Fishing the Midwest on WFN. Frisch commented that “For almost thirty(30) years, Fishing the Midwest has been must-see-tv for anglers living in the Midwest. But we know that anglers from all across the nation come to this part of the world to fish. We want to help those anglers learn about some of our favorite lakes, rivers and reservoirs and how to catch the fish that inhabit those waters”.
Fishing the Midwest founder Bob Jensen added, “For going on three(3) decades, Fishing the Midwest has been the leader in regional outdoor programming. For that period of time, we have provided the most extensive regional coverage of all outdoor programs featuring the Midwest, and our mission is to continue that coverage. With the addition of the World Fishing Network, we’re going to let anglers outside of our traditional coverage area know about the outstanding fishing opportunities in the Midwest, and we’ll also help them learn about the tactics and equipment that will help them be more successful wherever they fish”.
Fishing the Midwest is available to about twenty(20) million households and continues to be one of the highest-rated and most popular regional outdoor television shows anywhere. Fishing the Midwest is recognized as a leader in incorporating production qualities of the highest level into an outdoor television series that includes information and entertainment.
New episodes of Fishing the Midwest will begin airing the first week of January, 2019. For a complete listing of show topics and stations, times, and days for Fishing the Midwest, visit fishingthemidwest.com
