Last week I received a Guide Gear Bench Rest that I ordered from Sportsman’s Guide. I had a few problems putting it together last night. The wrenches that come with it aren’t all that good, so if you get one pull out your own ratchet set and box wrenches.
As for actually use, I haven’t fired anything, but it seems like a good buy for the lower cost. However, I think it is designed more for the type of shooting that I do with 22 caliber and airguns. The photo shows the Gamo Outdoor USA break barrel Swarm Maxxim resting in the unit. I’m going to check out the scope with this rest to see if it is really on target. Once done I should be able to even hit more bullseyes than I have.
