The perfect balance of power and comfort. The high-performance, 3hp, two-cycle engine, equipped with high rpm and torque, makes short work of thick ice. Ergonomic, anti-vibration, foam-grip handles virtually eliminate sore hands. The center-ring design and smooth-running-ball bearing transmission ensure controlled cutting. Good solid auger

Works great! Has plenty of torque. The only downside I can see is that the 2 cycle engine can be difficult to start in extremely cold temperatures.

I was a little leary when i saw this auger was on sale for $249.99 but I went ahead a purchased it .
I have drilled probably 50 holes in the 3 times I’ve been out and this thing works flawless Even in the coldest weather it fires up after about 5 pulls. I love this item and the warrenty is good also 1 year auger 2 year engine.
