Sorry guys, I couldn’t wait to do a video. I just had to shoot the Umarex USA, Inc. Brodax BB revolver. This thing is fantastic. Even before doing the video I’m giving it a 5-star rating. The only problem I had was one of the magazines don’t want to hold on to a couple of its BBs.
Also, you have to remember to lock the magazine into place or there will be a jam. One of the problems of being so dog gone much fun to shoot. You get in too big of a hurry to shoot again.
What you see in the photo is a grouping of nearly 100 Umarex Steel BBs. The C02 started running lower in velocity at about 90 to 90 rounds.
The first 30 rounds drilled out a lot of the center, and then I messed things up somewhere and started shooting a little and right where I drilled out another hole.
You can imagine how this thing would plink – ting ting ting etc etc.
This gun shoots at 375 fps, and I was shooting from 7 meters, which is around 8 yards (24 feet). The target is a NRA 5 meter airgun.
Three magazines come with this unit, but you could easily want to have 10. They sell on the Umarex website for around $6.50.
The Brodax sells for $39.99 on the Umarex site.
This would be a great gift idea for any airgunner on your list. Just don’t get some RWS oil, and Umarex High-Grade C02 and Steel BBs. I would also suggest Hornady Black Diamond BBs. Those are what I’m going to try next, and may use a combination in the video.
It was fun, safe and great indoor shooting tonight. Even Pepper enjoyed it.
Until next time, shoot safe, and have a great day of plinking.
