This season I find myself with the opportunity to review the Frabill FXE Snowsuit. I realize it’s very early in the season to do a thorough review so I plan on making this review on going. For now I have included pictures and a link to a short video with some preliminary testing. I didn’t want to just say this snow suit seems nice without some actual testing. I think I made a good start in the video. It doesn’t have all the music and fancy editing hype. What it does have is an actual real world test of what you may encounter early and late in the season .. rain and sleet.
The absolute first thing I noticed when removing the jacket and bibs from the box was the design and looks. After I removed the tags and began wearing the suit around the house and out in the yard I started noticing more and more of the innovations that were built in. One example is the way the arms and legs are curved for ease of movement. There is also extra material tucked in the shoulder area to allow for extra movement when reaching for something. By doing this there is less stress on the shoulder area seam and the sleeve doesn’t ride up your arm. For the high wear areas of the elbows and knees there is extra material adding extra durability.
