It’s time to test your fish IQ with another IGFA species ID challenge! On a recent college research expedition to Kiribati, IGFA Representative and Lifetime Achiever Martini Arostegui found the time to target some of the island’s inshore fishing opportunities. On June 1st, while casting a jig into the beautiful waters surrounding the tropical island, Arostegui hooked into this beautiful species of grouper that weighed in at 1.13 kg (2 lb 8 oz), before it was released alive.
