The Inshore Fishing Association (IFA) is once again partnering with key sponsors Cabela’s and Lucas Oil to host two premier, specialty events for the 2016 season. The IFA Lucas Oil Redfish Opens presented by Cabela’s offer inshore anglers a unique, high-stakes team tournament with 100 percent cash payout and extensive television coverage at each event.
With two events scheduled for 2016; April 15-16 at Houma, Louisiana, and June 3-4 at Panama City, Florida, the IFA Lucas Oil Redfish Opens will feature a two-day, team format and will be open to all anglers with an IFA membership. Each of the Open events will include a $1,250 entry fee with 100 percent cash payout guaranteed. Also, for an additional $250, anglers can sign up for the Angler’s Advantage program, which allows participants to compete in an even higher payout bracket.
In addition, the new IFA Lucas Oil Redfish Opens will include multiple contingency programs and a Team of the Year race, tracking points over both events. The highest finishing anglers will receive custom rings and paid entry fees for 2017, courtesy of Lucas Oil.
