A few years ago, fishing and recreational access to the beaches of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore were unnecessarily taken away from the public far beyond what was needed for resource protection. And now, the same closures are being proposed south of Cape Hatteras at the Cape Lookout National Seashore.
Reasonable access at Cape Lookout for fishing and other recreational enjoyment is being threatened, including your use of off-road 
vehicles (ORVs).
Don’t let a Cape Hatteras sequel be made. Make a comment to the National Park Service that you want to keep your access to the Cape Lookout oceanfront. The public comment period ends July 21.
Only together will our voice be heard.
