The new Stoeger Airguns F40 rifle is a fixed-barrel rifle with underlever cocking, available as a rifle only or as part of a rifle/optics combo. Airgun shooters know that underlever airguns offer many advantages over break-barrel airguns, including mechanical consistency of shots. With perfect rigidity between barrel and receiver, the design enhances the rifle’s accuracy. Plus, there is considerably less wear to the airgun’s most important areas – where the barrel meets the receiver and at the hinge pin. And with the extra weight of the cocking lever ideally located beneath the barrel, the rifle is steadier and inherently more accurate.
Available in both .177 and .22 caliber configurations, the new Stoeger Airguns F40 rifle features a powerful spring piston, a two-stage adjustable trigger, an automatic, ambidextrous safety and a hardwood stock. The rifle produces up to 1,200 fps velocities with the .177 caliber (up to 1,000 fps with lead) and up to 1,000 fps with the .22 caliber version (up to 800 fps with lead). MSRP for the rifle only is $199 for both calibers. The rifle/optics combo package includes a 3-9×40 riflescope and has an MSRP of $229.
Stoeger Airguns’ new XP4 pistol is designed for easy, ambidextrous handling. Featuring a light, ergonomic, composite frame, this .177 caliber airgun features a recoiless, single-shot, pre-compressed propulsion technology for easy shooting and increased accuracy. Equipped with a two-stage trigger and automatic safety, the pistol also has high-vis, precision fiber-optic sights with windage- and elevation-adjustable rear sights. There is also an integrated slide and accessories rail for accessories mounting.The XP4 pistol produces velocities up to 410 fps (360 fps with lead) and has a sleek, black synthetic finish.
