After filming some knife throwing and airgun shooting videos, then some more shooting with the Browning Buck Mark Medallion and Henry Repeating Arms carbine with Skinner Sights, Pepper and I started fishing.
The wind was blowing up to 40 mph, and actually knocked Pepper off of his feet.
We got a late start, so knew the fishing time wasn’t going to be long (1 1/2 hours). It was cold and windy, but I was able to catch 10 bass, largest 20″, on a Natural Forage Baits green shad Swim Bait rigged on the new Blitz Lures LLC Swim Head.
I fished it just fast enough to tick the tops of grass weed. Most hits came as it hit weeds or was jerked loose from some in which the lure was slightly caught.
Another angler had fished for about 3 or so, and caught 3 on a Mann’s Baby Minus 1, so the NFB Swim Bait definitely made a difference.
