Nockturnal™ has introduced the new NockTool™, a device to quickly and easily install, position or remove nocks, as well as effectively turn off Nockturnal Lighted Nocks. Measuring 2 inches long by 1 inch wide by .4 inches thick and weighing just .25 ounces, the Nockturnal NockTool is constructed of a yellow ABS polymer body molded around a 0.035-inch-thick switch hook. The SwitchHook is tool steel, hardened to 50 Rockwell C and chrome plated for durability and long life. The NockTool also features a 0.18-inch diameter hole in its body to attach a lanyard for safekeeping.
To remove a factory nock or Nockturnal Lighted Nock, simply place the ears of the nock into the slots with the NockTool at an angle, then rotate the tool so that the nock is fully seated. With a slight twist and pull, the nock can be easily removed. To install a new Nockturnal Lighted Nock, rotate a new nock into position and press it into the arrow shaft with a twist. The new nock will seat against the arrow shoulder, and it can be twisted to the desired position in relation to the vanes.
To turn off a Nockturnal Lighted Nock, simply insert the NockTool’s tapered SwitchHook into the nock opening and push the switch up.
The new NockTool is now available wherever Nockturnal products are sold with a suggested retail price of $6.99.
