Garry Mason, founder of the “Legends of the Outdoors” National Hall of Fame in Nashville, Tennessee has announced that O’Neill Williams will be inducted into the Hall of Fame on Saturday, August 15th. The ceremony will be held on the General Jackson Showboat/Music City Queen in Nashville Saturday morning. Many outdoors celebrities will be on hand to celebrate Williams’ induction into one of the most prestigious awards presented in the outdoors community.
O’Neill Williams has been on television with his own show, ‘O’Neill Outside’ a popular fishing and hunting program for the past 34 years. His network(s) presence reaches 171,000,000
subscriber households weekly. He is also the host of his own radio show by the same name that broadcasts to over 400,000 listeners every Saturday morning via WSB AM and FM and via streaming audio on his website, oneilloutside.com. Williams is also extremely popular through his monthly newsletter, as well as on social media outlets like Twitter and Facebook.
A graduate of Emory University in Atlanta, he is a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity and was awarded ‘Significant Sig’ status in 2013, one of only 1,500 Sigma Chi members awarded such since the fraternity’s founding in 1935.
