Pepper and I started out fishing on a fairly warm and windy day that became windier, stormy and cooler.
I don’t know if Pepper was tired, bored or trying to duck down out of the wind.
The fishing was basically two Natural Forage Baits – green shad Swim Bait with black BFishn Tackle H20 jighead, and June Bug RT7 worm Texas rigged with a XPoint 2/0 Worm hook and bullet sinker.
The Swim Bait was run about everywhere, the the RT7 was worked in the heaviest weeds I could find, with all the hits coming off or near the edge.
Once the very heavy weather moved in with some wind gusts up to 50 mph, the fishing pretty much shut down, which worked out alright since it was about supper time for both of us, and there were severe storms rolling into the area.
