It seems every manufacturer who wants to be considered a major player in the low profile bass reel market has to have a magnesium based reel. To realize after all these years Quantum had yet to make this leap didn’t quite compute. Well, no longer as this year, Quantum unveiled their 5.4 ounce Tour Mg PT. This svelte little reel is sort of a hybrid of existing reels with some exo-skeletal type features, but predominantly solid overall body based on the Energy PT. Read the rest of the review
