The Henry Lever Action 22

I’m going to make this short and sweet. I have been testing and evaluating one of these rifles (Henry Lever Action 22) for about 1 year. Other testers tell you how good they look; we already know that. Other testers tell you how reliable they are; we already know that too. Then you see videos of someone shooting the rifle or more or less posing with it. The targets are beer can size while at least one rifle was demonstrated from a vise rest. My rifle a Henry Frontier H001T with the 20 inch Octagon barrel, nothing fancy pure performance.

The Henry Lever Action 22

1. Ammo test, all groups could be covered with a dime.
2. Accuracy Test: the rifle will Max a Black Death target with target ammo 1/4 inch 5 shot groups at 25 yards.
3. Trick Shooting consisted of Card splitting; no problem, tooth pick shooting very consistent, Smiley Face Shooting iron sights no problem. I couldn’t shoot through a life saver without breaking it and split and tooth pick but I got real close. (No one else did either) I stopped that test after many tries because if I did, it would be just luck. The basic Western Cowboy Rifle design disallows an adjustable trigger but who cares.
4. Small Game hunting found the demise of several tree squirrels from my hide on the back porch and the wildlife management area. Shots at 31 yards, were all head shots using High Speed Winchester Hollow points and CCI Sub Sonic Hollow points. Bushnell Banner 3×9 scope. If you aimed at the eye that’s were you hit it. If you aimed between the two front teeth that’s where the bullet goes. The trick there is shooting skill, simple as that the rifle is perfect. So here are the photos of the Henry Test and what it will really do. Thanks Anthony you make a hell of a rifle…Pass it on.
