Today I picked up two new rifles at B&B Hardware in Milan. I call them my Rossi USA twins – LR and Mag. The one is a 22LR semi-auto with fiber optic sights, while the other is a 22 WMR (Mag) bolt action, with a Picatinny mount for a scope, on which I intend to place a new Barska that I ordered a couple of days ago.
I wanted to mount the new Sightmark R-Series Reflex Sight, but it wouldn’t fit. So, in order to do the powder shooting for the sight’s review I’ll use my Henry Repeating Arms Frontier Long Barrel with rail adapters. There is one for Mark Millichamp to try on his long range shooting.
Rj McDaniel said that I would like the fiber optic sights on the 22LR model. He is definitely correct. They are dead on when you pick up the gun.
Both are lightweight and short, and everyone who has followed Shoot ‘N’ Plink™ knows my passion for short/carbine style rifles. They are normally concealable, good in tight places, quick to the target and accurate. To me, they are the perfect “plinkers”.
Stay tuned for the videos and articles regarding the Rossi rifles and Sightmark sight.
Until next time, shoot safe and have a great day of plinking.
