Today I did a little shopping on the Sportsman’s Guide website and purchased a couple of items for which I’ll be using for Shoot ‘N’ Plink™ FB, magazine and video subjects.
One was the Guide Gear Bench Rest. As everyone knows I don’t use these for shooting, but plan on using this one for some sighting in, and then do my free standing and yoke shooting after that. https://www.sportsmansguide.com/…/in…/guide-gear-bench-rest…
The other item is for testing. It is a Tactical Solutions compensator for 22 caliber pistol or rifle with a 1/2 x 28 threaded barrel. As you may remember I recently purchased a Henry Repeating Arms Frontier Long Barrel in the threaded barrel model. However, Illinois does not allow suppressors, so there isn’t much use to me for the gun since I already had the same model in a standard barrel, which I like very much. So the compensator will be a good item to use for gathering more ideas for print and video. Also, I’m interested to see if it really does improve accuracy. I’ve heard everything about it on both ways – yes and no. So, I’ll be shooting the new rifle for the first time with and without the compensator to see if there is any difference .https://www.sportsmansguide.com/…/tactical-solutions-10-22-…
So stay tune for information on both of these products.
