Our story is simple. It started with a few good buddies, a campfire and a crazy passion for catching monster catfish. We’re all-American Iowa boys who love hunting, fishing, camping and pretty much anything that gets us outdoors. But our favorite time of year is when we’re out on the river running lines. We use ditty poles, and if you’ve never heard of ’em, it’s a whole different way to catch really big fish.
Most of us started fishing this way as kids and we love the adrenaline rush. But the hassles with tying knots and tangled lines, not so much. That’s why we’ve spent the last five years building the perfect ditty pole and getting it right. We call it the Hawg Lawg and it’s the strongest, most convenient, fully integrated, reusable, tangle-free bankfishing system you’ll ever use — not to mention it’s 100 percent made in the good ol’ USA.
While we were perfecting the Hawg Lawg something else happened, too. A buddy of ours started filming our antics at camp and one thing led to another until we had ourselves a deal for a TV show. Our first season airs on the Pursuit Channel starting Monday evening, December 29, 2014 at 9 p.m. EST and every Monday night at 9p.m. EST throughout the 1st and 2nd Quarters of 2015.
