The group recently launched a website aimed at educating voters on the truth about the gun control initiative and combating the misinformation campaign being waged by out-of-state gun control groups.

Husband and wife fight off home invader, Indianapolis Star, Indianapolis, Ind. 05/31/16
A married couple and their daughter were asleep at home in Indianapolis, Ind. when a man broke into the house. The husband retrieved a shotgun and came upon the intruder. A struggle over the firearm ensued, and the wife retrieved another weapon and went to assist her husband. The husband and wife eventually shot the home invader, killing him. No one who lives in the home was harmed during the incident.

There’s a process to these things: When Katie Couric first came under criticism for a bogus edit in the documentary “Under the Gun,” she issued a statement saying that she was “proud” of the film. Then, on Thursday, TheWrap reported that an “individual with knowledge of Couric’s thinking called it an “unnecessary mistake.” And last night, Couric put her name to the sentiment, issuing an apology and conceding that the edit was “misleading.”
