waiting for the shot opportunity, pick out an aiming point and stay completely focused on that.
It’s easier to block out a thought, by
replacing it with another, rather than
trying to avoid that thought completely. By
staying 100% focused on where you want
to aim, you’ll give yourself no opportunity
for distracting thoughts. It doesn’t matter
if the deer is out of your shooting range,
stay completely focused on your spot.
Being mentally prepared, and having self-
confidence won’t make you a ‘better’
hunter, but will help you make the most of
the opportunities you have.
